The Saint – The Clairvoyant

The Saint – The Clairvoyant

Sri Nanasaheb Chandorkar, a Mamlatdar of Nandurbar, in Khandesh, was suddenly transferred to Pandharpur, a holy temple town of lord Vithoba.
He was an ardent devotee of Baba. As he had to take immediate charge, he left without informing anybody. He wanted to proceed first to Shirdi to get the blessings of Baba before going to Pandharpur to take charge of his post.
At Shirdi, on one knew that Nanasaheb was no his way to Pandharpur vai Shirdi. However, the omniscient Baba was aware of every movement of his devotees. When Nanasaheb approached Neemgaon, a village a few miles away from Shirdi, Baba, who was in the Masjid and talking with Mhalaspathi, Appa Shinde and Kashiram, suddenly said “Let all four of us do some Bhajan. The doors of Pandhari are open. Let us all merrily sing”, and started singing in chrous, “I have to go to Pandharpur, and i have to stay on there, for it is the house of MY LORD” – that was the gist of the song.

In a short while, Nanasaheb arrived with his family, prostrated himself before Baba, and pray to Him to accompany them to pandharpur and stay with them. Fellow devotees told nana that Baba was already in the mood og going to Pandharpur and staying there. On hearing this, nana fell at the Holy feet od Baba, with a heart filled with gratitude for Knowing his inner feelings and thoughts.
